There are many disciplines that ally the body, mind and emotions, such as Qi Gong, Taï-Chi and Yoga. The practice of such disciplines increases well-being and allows the practionner to better understand their nature. These practices help us to discover our interior balance and to live in a more harmonious state within the world around us. They allow the natural re-balancing of the Yin and the Yang of the person who practices them.
So what is Yin and Yang? It is a subtile concept of duality, of interdependence and of opposition and of mutation coming from Chinese philosophy. Yin and Yang represents two intimate and complementary categories that we find in all aspect of our lives and the universe. ![]() For example:
It is recommended to practice the physical aspects of Yin and Yang by adopting the methods that you feel more inspired by. You can therefore benefit on a deeper level from the discipline and understand their true sense. The exercises in these methods require breathing and exhalation. It's important to take one's time, to rest and to take pleasure in undertaking the different exercises. It's important not to force the body to go too quickly and to leave it time to adapt to the exercises and their benefits. Above all, be patient and understand that you're taking on a way of life as much as trying to accomplish a goal. It's important to create the time and give yourself the time to follow the exercises on a regular basis, such that you have everything aligned to give you the best chance of finding your true balance.
