Life can seem difficult when we need to juggle with children, partners and work. Everyone needs time for themselves. We love being with our family, friends and colleagues, but sometimes we just need some time to relax by ourselves or to accomplish something that's important to us.How good are you at making your time? With a busy life, maybe kids and a partner, it can be incredibly difficult to create time that is just for you. Some people feel guilty even taking time that they could be dedicating to something else.Your time though, is essential. By finding even a few minutes each day for you, you will feel happier, healthier and will be more accomplished in your other activities. Ask your family to give you 30 minutes on your own. Can your partner bathe the children whilst you read a book or catch up on your twitter feeds? Do you like to run? Can you wake up each more an hour earlier to go jogging? Do you have a third pillar?Aletha Solter recommends that everyone have an activity outside of their family for themselves, a third pillar after work and family. What could yours be?What would you like to do that you've never done before? Tango? Raw food cookery? Painting? Can you go out one night a week to take or course, or even just meet-up with a group of friends? ![]() Make your time.Everyone's schedule is slightly different, with a different set of constraints. Understand yours and see where you can fit in your time. It is essential for your's and your family's well-being.Discuss with others how you've made time for yourself by leaving a comment below or in the ConnectionZen forum.
