Preparations for a birth take many forms. They can really help you to live your delivery with calm, force and confidence.

Preparation for the birth

Preparations can be done with independent midwives. They are sessions for the future parents, the couple and future mothers to discuss their desires and worries before the baby arrives. These are wonderful and important moments of dialog, a melding with the unborn child, a sharing of emotions, tenderness and discussions concerning pain and how the delivery will take place.

Haptonomy or "meeting the baby"

Haptonomy is described as the science of affectivity. Future parents are encourages to communicate with their baby even before the birth, from the fourth month of pregnancy. Parents, especially future fathers who experience the pregnancy from the exterior, are invited to pose their hands on the pregnant stomach. Prenatal Music

In the tummy of its mother, a baby is sensitive to the sounds and voices in the outside world from the 4th month of pregnancy. So from this moment in time, the baby is beginning to know its parents. During delivery, sound vibrations give force to the body, helping to reduce pain and open the birth canal. These are exercises that attempt to relax a pregnant woman's body from the 5th month of pregnancy. Blood circulation can be improved, joint pain reduced, muscles readied for the birth and relaxation are the ordre du jour.
